The Facility
Built in 1867, The Alderlea was painstakingly restored and expanded by the City of Brampton, merging historical charm with innovative green design features. One of Ontario’s finest examples of Italianate architecture, visitors to The Alderlea are enchanted by the generous eaves, large turned brackets, bay windows, wrap-around verandah, and other charming original details. The venue boasts stunning marble fireplaces, intricately detailed plasterwork, and elegant furnishings.
